To edit a button panel, you will first log into Percent POS and access the System Menu
Once in the System Menu, select the Setup Menu and select the Button Editor
In the Button Editor, you will select the following:
Station - select the station you wish to edit the buttons on from the drop down. Drop down will display a list of all the stations that you currently have configured in Percent POS
Panel - select the panel that you wish to edit the buttons from the drop down. Percent POS has 100 button panels to choose from that are preconfigured with buttons.
Half / Full -
Half Size button panel will display a half screen button panel that allows for the numeric keypad and retail functions to appear on the screen (recommended for retail sites)
Full Size button panel will remove the numeric keypad and retail functions and expand the button panel to add more buttons to the screen (recommended for hospitality sites)
Once selecting a button on the desired panel, you will see a list of the following options:
Top / Left - (grayed out until unlocked) will determine the location of the button on the panel screen
Height / Width - (grayed out until unlocked) will determine the size of the button on the panel screen
Font - allows for you to select the text size and style
Colors - allows for you to select the button color and text color of the button
Text - allows for you to enter the text for the selected button
Function - allows you to select a function for the selected button - for a list of functions that the button can perfom, please visit Percent Button Functions
Icon - preset icons that you can add to the top of your button text
POS Access - permission level that user is needing to have in order to use this button
Editor Access - permission level that user is needing to have in order to edit this button
Under the More option at the bottom of the screen, you will see the following options:
Delete - will allow you to delete the selected button off the screen
Mirror - will allow you to hard set the button across multiple button panel screens
Label Panel - allows you to enter a name for the selected button panel that you are currently editing
Unlock / Lock Panel - allows the user to unlock/lock the coordinate and size options of the buttons of the specified panel. If unlocked, upon saving panel will automatically lock
Mirror Station - will allow you to hard set the panel to another station
Copy Stn From - will allow you to copy a selected stations button panels
