This course will help students understand medical terminology pertaining to each body system. Using graphics and study tips, students will not only learn definitions and root terms, but also their application in the medical world. Learning blocks will be used to condense information and to help isolate what students need to know versus what is nice to know. Fun and unusual facts will be used to help students remember medical terminology in unique ways. Opportunities to see how medical terminology is used in the real world through case study assignments will be utilized, as well as flashcards to help students study.
