This course will serve as an introduction to the complete automotive field, including safety, ASE certification, employment potential, customer service, employer/employee relations and the parts and service industry. This course will also begin introducing the different systems associated with an automobile, and start looking at them more in depth.

AUTO 2 - FUNDAMENTALS OF AUTO SERVICING

PREREQUISITE: C OR BETTER IN AUTO 1

CCN: AUT-126 CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT

This course will familiarize students with basic scheduled maintenance. Proper usage of hand and power tools will be covered, as well as precision measuring systems and equipment.

This course will be a continuation of Auto I, it will take a more in depth look at the systems associated with today's automobiles. As well as familiarizing students to more technical tools and equipment.
