Bylaw I

Board of Trustees

1.       The Board of Frankfurt International School (hereinafter referred to as the “Board”) shall adopt these Bylaws in accordance with Article IV.3. of the Articles of Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Article(s)”).

 2.       Nomination, election and appointment of the Board is stipulated in Article V (Policy 1.1011). According to Article IV.2. the Board elects from its midst four officers, i.e. a Chair, ViceChair, Treasurer and Secretary.

3.       The school shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless members of the Board, individually and as a Board, for any demands, claims or actions brought against them while acting in good faith in their capacity as Board members on behalf of the school.
