Course description:
Do you consider yourself to be a creative individual? Do you wish to develop your creative potential? Do you have an opinion on what happens in the world, think about things differently and love expressing yourself through your creativity? If the answer was YES to any of these, then the Visual Arts elective is for you. Visual Arts is an exciting & challenging course with opportunities to learn about you as an artist, other artists, artworks, audiences and the amazing world in which they practice artmaking. Students will develop skills in making art based on a particular theme each unit, art language and writing about the art. Visual Arts develops student’s creative thinking and problem-solving abilities and compliments Visual Design and Photography as elective choices.
