Course description:
Science, technology, engineering and mathematics are fundamental to shaping the future of Australia. They provide enabling skills and knowledge that increasingly underpin many professions and trades, and the skills of a technologically based workforce. The iSTEM course uses these knowledge concepts in their application to Skills, Technology, Engineering and Mechanics.
The iSTEM Course covers a number of STEM-based fields, including:

Skills you will master:
The iSTEM - Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics subject examines a variety of materials and processes used to practically problem solve and produce working models / projects.
Students will develop skills in the use of hand tools and power tools.
The use of machinery, testing / experimenting equipment and deigning and creating projects to put into action !! are an integral part of the course.
Through the development of practical projects, students are introduced to basic engineering concepts and will “learn by doing”.

Students will be required to have Leather upper shoes for ALL practical lessons.
