Course description:
This course allows for students to learn practical skills in all forms of clay construction. This is a hands-on practical course with development component in Ceramics history. Students will develop individual projects based on new techniques throughout the year. They will learn to use the pottery wheel in addition to a range of hand building skills. This is a thoroughly enjoyable course. This subject is a ROSA qualifying subject and you will achieve a grade will appear on your final Year 10 ROSA.

Hand building with clay techniques – pinch pot, slab, coil and pottery wheel.
