Course description:
Photography is a versatile course consisting of three strands – Wet Photography, Digital & Film making. In this course students will develop a photographic portfolio in the areas of black & white traditional darkroom photography, digital photography and filmmaking. This course allows for students to develop skills in the latest techniques in digital and darkroom photography including composition, film processing, photo editing and publishing. Students will develop skills in photographic language and writing about Photography, along with taking photos based on a theme each unit. Photography & Digital Media develops a stronger skills base and compliments subjects such as Visual Arts and Visual Design as elective choices. Many students select another Art subject to compliment Photography.
