TAFE Delivered VET Courses: ATAR

In addition to the School Delivered VET Industry Curriculum Framework Courses outlined in Section 6.3, there are also a number of different types of VET courses available for students to select that are delivered through the Technical and Further Education (TAFE) colleges of Western Sydney Institute of TAFE. (WSITAFE). These are 240 hour and can be counted towards an ATAR pattern of study.

Note: Most TVET Courses operate on a Monday or Wednesday afternoon between 2.00pm and 6.00pm at Blacktown, Mt Druitt, Nepean (Kingswood & Penrith campuses), Nirimba (Quakers Hill) and Richmond Colleges of TAFE. 

Transport to and from the appropriate TAFE College is the responsibility of students and parents. 

Separate Application Forms are required for TAFE Delivered Vocational HSC Courses. Students will be provided with further information detailing the proposed courses is available from the Colo High School TVET Coordinator, Ms McNair, in the Careers Office.
