An ideal pathway for Stage 5.3 Students, this course is exciting and challenging, providing candidates with the opportunity to discover the power of Mathematics in sophisticated contexts. Mathematics Advanced supports the understanding of other courses such as Economics, Commerce, Physics, and the sciences at both HSC and tertiary levels.

Note: There is no field of scientific inquiry that does not express itself through the language of mathematics and as such, the study of Mathematics compliments many future career paths. 

• This course cannot be studied in conjunction with Mathematics Standard. 

• HSC outcomes build on skills and knowledge from the Preliminary course and as such, all Preliminary content is assesable in the HSC Examination.
