Course description:
The aim of the Information and Software Technology Years 7 – 10 syllabus is to develop students’ knowledge and understanding, confidence and creativity in analysing, designing, developing and evaluating information and software technology solutions.
Nature of the Course: The course is divided into two sections: Core and Option topics.
The Core is compulsory and should be studied in Year 9 as a pre-requisite to studying the option topics.
Four Options topics should be chosen from the following list and be studied in Year 9 and Year 10.
Students also need to complete a minimum of 4 projects and a maximum of 8 projects to complete this course.
