Course description:

This course allows for students to learn photography skills balanced with theory, ethics & creativity in the latest techniques in digital photo media and film. This is a hands-on practical subject. You will explore project-based photo units with a professional practice focus on street art, photojournalism and online photography, giving you the capacity to meet real industry expectations. You will learn to understand the power of your mobile phone camera and learn skills in editing not only on your mobile device but in professional editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. 

 Street Photography & Film develops a stronger skills base and compliments subjects such as Visual Arts and Visual Design as elective choices and in Year 11 Visual Arts, Photography & Visual Design. This will appear as Photography Stage 5 on the ROSA.
