As we move into the final stretch of the school year, we want to thank you for your continued support of our students, faculty, and mission. This past week was filled with moments that highlighted the excellence and collaboration that define CTEC.
Week in Review
April 30: We had the honor of hosting the Superintendent’s Luncheon here at CTEC. Our talented Culinary Arts students prepared and served a delicious meal, showcasing the skills they’ve developed through hands-on training and instruction.
May 2: We celebrated the ribbon cutting ceremony for Koda’s Playhouse at Southdowns Pre-K. Built by our Carpentry students and sponsored by the Academic Distinction Fund, this project is a testament to the practical learning and community partnership that makes CTEC a special place.
Looking Ahead
Next week brings a mix of celebration and meaningful reflection:
May 5 – May 9: We will celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. Join us in recognizing the dedicated educators who inspire, guide, and empower our students each day.
May 7 – May 8: CTEC is proud to host the Louisiana Aspiring Superintendents Meeting. We look forward to welcoming educational leaders from across the state to our campus.
May 9: This marks the last day for our seniors across the district. We are proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to celebrating their next chapter.
We are grateful for your partnership in preparing the next generation of skilled professionals. Wishing everyone a strong and positive week ahead!
