Archery Competition at Belaire High School
Belaire High School JROTC serves as the host to the first district archery tournament on January 15 at the high school gymnasium. The archery tournament is the first event of the year for teams to prepare and compete in the upcoming Regional and Louisiana State Championship tournaments held at LSU-Alexandria (Mega Shelter) on February 21, 2025. During the first round of the district tournament, about 50 students from Belaire, Istrouma, and McKinley High were present for the competition. Several parents and team supporters came out to support their students and teams. The second round of the district competition will be held on January 29th at Belaire High and will also serve as the host to several more teams throughout the district. The teams must compete high to qualify and participate in the Louisiana State Archery Championship. We expect several of our teams to earn a trip to the National Level Archery Competition in Louisville, KY during late spring 2025.
Career and Technical Education around the District!
