Manage Dates 

Brightspace start, end, and due dates can easily be added for each assessment or activity. These dates automatically populate the calendar and ping the students 3 days prior to help them stay on track. 

• Due date = the date you want to see an activity done

• Start date = the date students should or can start an activity

• End date = the date students can no longer edit/access an activity 

There are several ways to set dates in Brightspace, including all at once using the Manage Dates tool in Course Admin.
