The College has two Anatomage tables. According to the company, "The Anatomage Table is the only fully segmented real human 3D anatomy platform. Users can visualize anatomy exactly as they would on a fresh cadaver. Individual structures are reconstructed in accurate 3D, resulting in an unprecedented level of real accurate anatomy, dissectible in 3D. Anatomy is presented as a fully interactive, life-sized touch screen experience, in operatory bed form. The Table allows for exploration and learning of human anatomy beyond what any cadaver could offer."
Anatomage also, "offers 4 gross anatomy cases, more than 20 high-resolution regional anatomy cases, and more than 1000 pathological examples, including animal cases."
The Anatomage Table is essentially a large touchscreen Windows computer. It has the same file system, web browsers, Zoom, etc. Additional features include:
Interactive segmentation,
Dissection tools,
Full annotations,
Interactive live physiology,
Kinesiology simulation, and
Quiz mode.
This technology can be used in any course that teaches facets of the human body including Nursing, Pre-Med, Exercise Physiology, Physician Assistant, Occupational Therapy, and Physical Therapy.
The College has two Anatomage Tables.

Turn the Table on
Make sure that the main power switch is in the “I” position (it's down by the power cable on the base of the table).
Locate the small, white protrusion on the side of the table.
Lift it up. It should reveal a switch underneath.
Flick the metal switch to power on the table (it’s like a power button on your laptop).
Place the white protrusion back over the switch so that you do not accidentally bump it while using the table.
Shut the Table Down
Shut the table down after each use.
Exit any applications that are still running.
Close all browser windows.
Press the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the desktop screen.
Click the power icon.
Click Shut Down.
The table has 4 wheels with locking mechanisms on each. These mechanisms serve to keep the table from rolling anywhere while in use.
Note the location of the ethernet and power cable connections.
Do not move the table out of range of the plug-ins.
If you do need to unplug the cables to move the table, be sure to plug them back in before using the table.
Unlock the wheels by moving each of the locking mechanisms into the “up” position.
Roll the table to the desired location.
Lock the wheels by moving each of the 4 locking mechanisms into the “down” position to lock the table in place.
Test the locks by trying to roll the table.
If it doesn’t roll, begin using the table.
If it does shift or roll, revisit step 4.
The table has 2 primary positions - upright (vertical) or flat (horizontal). Follow the steps below to securely move the table between each position.
Note: It is best to have 2 people tilt the table, one on either side of the table, if possible.
If the table is in the flat position:
Move the flat position lock lever into the unlocked position. Note: There is only a lever on one side of the table. It moves the 2 locks in tandem.
Slowly push the end of the table upward using the cut-out handles under the table to guide it into the upright position. The lower end fits between the two white “prongs” on either side of the table’s base. Don’t let it slam down.
Move the upright lock lever into the lock position to lock it upright.
If the table is in the upright position:
Move the upright position lock lever into the unlocked position. Note: There is only a lever on one side of the table. It moves the 2 locks in tandem.
Use the cut-out handles under the table to slowly pull the high end of the table back down into the flat position. Don’t let it slam down.
Move the flat lock lever into the lock position to lock it into the new position.
Turn on the projector.
Locate the HDMI cables for the room’s projector.
Plug it into one of the HDMI ports along the side of the table.
Use the black table remote to change the input/output, if necessary.
Please clean the table after each use.
Materials
These are located in the small box near the table:
Isopropyl alcohol
Purple microfiber cloth (NOT paper towels)
Optional: Mild soap and water
Process
Reminder: Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, abrasives, and heavy pressure.
Option 1:
Wash your hands.
Use an alcohol wipe to gently disinfect the screens and switches. You can use a disinfectant on both the glass and the frame.
Use the alcohol wipe or a mild detergent to clean the stylus before putting it back into the box.
Polish with the purple microfiber cloth.
Option 2:
Wash your hands.
Dampen (not wet) the purple microfiber cloth using the sink in the classroom. Put a small drop of mild dish soap onto it.
Wipe the table down with the soaped portion, then with the non-soaped portion to “rinse.”
Thoroughly rinse the cloth and hang it to dry nearby.
