I have had the privilege of serving in various teaching positions throughout my career, which has provided me with a range of perspectives on the field of education. I have experience as a middle school science teacher, a naturalist at Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center, and an elementary science specialist. I taught for ten years as an assistant professor of teacher education at the University of Minnesota Duluth, and worked as the Dean of the Faculty and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Northland College in Wisconsin. I also have experience leading middle/high school and undergraduate students on international trips throughout Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
