Join the Brightspace Zoom Chat

Are you looking for a quick answer to a question about Brightspace? You can post it in Zoom on the Chat screen and get answers from members of the CID team or St. Schoalstica colleagues. When posting a message, you can add screenshots of issues, attach files, or post an audio message.

You can also scroll through other posts and pick up ideas from others for your courses. Add questions about other useful St. Schoalstica applications, (i.e. Zoom or Google), here too. Join the CID/Brightspace channel in Zoom Chat and tap into our collective expertise at St. Schoalstica.

Steps to join the Zoom support chat

  1. Log in to your Zoom Desktop App: Log in to the Zoom app on your computer instead of in a browser. Don’t have the Zoom App? Installation steps:

      • St. Scholastica computer: click on your Windows icon on your taskbar, go to the Software Center, search for Zoom Plugin, then install it. Log in.

      • Your personal computer: Sign in to Zoom, click on the Zoom icon on your taskbar, then click on your image or initial in the top right of the window and select Check for Updates.

  2. Join Chat: click on Chat at the top of the screen. In the left menu, look for Channels and + symbol. Click the + to Join a Channel. Select CID / Brightspace.

Worried about notifications popping up? Your Zoom Chat window stays hidden until you need it, and you can prevent unwanted notifications popping up on your screen. Right-click on the CID/Brightspace name for a menu.

Check out your other options, including Star this Channel.
