The Groups tool lets instructors group students for a specific project or activity. You can use the Groups tool for team projects, small group discussions or to create special access to content or assignments for users with different learning needs or those who need different access dates/times.
Users can belong to multiple groups within the same course, but students cannot self-enroll in more than one group within the same category. Instructors can add and remove users to any group at any time.
Each group can have its own discussion forums, assignments, and locker area to work in.
You can grade members of groups individually or as a team.
