Students are provided an email account through their CMCSS Google account.

All K-12 Students have access through their CMCSS Google accounts
Elementary and Middle School accounts send and receive email only to/from other CMCSS email addresses.
High school accounts can send and receive email to/from CMCSS and non-CMCSS email addresses.
Student email accounts are provided through Google (Gmail). Students can access their email by clicking the Gmail icon (circled in the image) from their ClassLink launchpad.
Students can also access their CMCSS provided email from their Google Drive by clicking on the waffle in the upper right corner and selecting Gmail from the options.
When using student email accounts, all students are expected to follow the rules and guidelines in the Student Code of Conduct and in the Technology Acceptable Use Policy. Please refer to these documents for additional information.
High school students will view an email safety and acceptable use video each year. This video will highlight appropriate use of student email, provide information on recogizing and avoiding SPAM, Scams, and Phishing emails, and provide directions for reporting suspicious email to the district IT administrators.
All student email addresses start with the student username followed by @students.cmcss.net. Example: Joe.student123@students.cmcss.net
