Employees and students leaving the district should consider backing up important documents prior to their final day. If you have files that you would like to save, these directions will assist you in exporting them prior to your departure from CMCSS. This is an optional task as you are NOT required to export any files. If there are additional directions you need, please reach out to instructionaltechnology@cmcss.net.
You will loose access to these important documents if you do not change your CMCSS email to a personal email address inside of TNCompass prior to your final day in the district. TNCompass is a state run website that contains information on a teacher's license, endorsements, evaluations, and other important documents.
Payroll stubs, W-2 forms, and Professional Learning transcripts are personal records you may want to have a current copy. If you choose not to export these PDFs but later decide you need them, contact the CMCSS Human Resource department for assistance.
Use these directions to download PDF copies of payroll stubs and yearly W-2 forms.
For a record of trainings and professional learning, use these directions to download or email a copy to have for future reference.
The following directions are provided if you choose to download or export items you have created.
Please note that any files that contain student names and/or data are strictly prohibited from leaving CMCSS.

If the description is
RED, we HIGHLY recommend that you export the information.
PINK, we recommend you consider what you have saved.
BLACK, it is entirely at your discretion.
Just remember that your laptop will be collected well before the end of the school year and your CMCSS accounts will be turned off the last half day of school.
