Wireless Projection

The projection display options in Windows 10 allow for several projection configurations. The two most common are Duplicate and Extend.  Access the projection options by using the F8 function key. (Dell Laptops)

Duplicate - an exact duplicate of the device screen projected on the big screen or whiteboard

Extend - add the space of the projection screen as part of the device thus giving a much larger work area and the ability to have multiple tasks going at the same time with students viewing one item while other items are only visible on the device display

Two different images from two sources can be shown at the same time by using the remote control for the projector to select more than one display option and 'split' the screen.  Follow this link to learn more. 

1. Digital Whiteboard - Use the snip tools on the computer and digital pen to model problems from anywhere in the room.

2. Student Interaction - Walk around the room with laptop in tablet mode, let students pen their response live.

3. Presentations - Make presentations from anywhere in the room.  Keep close proximity to students for better classroom management.

4. Morning work or bell ringers - Use pause to freeze morning or bell ringer work on screen while doing other work on the computer from anywhere in the room. 

5. Use Office Lens app to digitize any content and share to laptop via email or other program.  Model, correct, instruct, translate etc. from anywhere in the room. 

6. Use ambient music and images during quiet or transitional times to set a calming tone.
