First Day of School after the Mid-Term Break: Kindly note that the first day of school after the mid-term break will be Monday, March 23rd. It will be Day 3 of the cycle.
Second Term Report Card: Your child’s second term report card was sent home with them on Thursday, March 12th. Kindly complete and return the slip enclosed with the it, indicating that you received it, by Monday, March 23rd. Merci!
Saint Patrick's Day Spirit Day Take-Two: Students are invited to dress in green and white on Monday, March 23rd in celebration of Saint Patrick's Day.
Saint Patrick's Day Party Take-Two: Our class will be celebrating Saint Patrick's Day on Monday, March 23rd by playing bingo and enjoying a snack together. I will provide a healthy snack that is individually wrapped in its original packaging and labelled as Peanut/Nut Free. Merci beaucoup!
Epilepsy Awareness Day: All students are invited to dress in purple on Thursday, March 26th in support of Epilepsy Awareness Month.
I am Experience: Our class will be attending an I am Experience assembly on Thursday, March 26th at 12:30 p.m. It will be a presentation that celebrates resilience, self-worth and the power of believing in yourself.
Book Exchange: Our next book exchange will be on Monday, March 30th, Day 2. Please have your child return their Library book(s) by or on Friday, March 27th, Day 1. Merci!
Show and Share Take-Two: All students are invited to bring a small toy of their choice from home that complements our integrated theme of Occupations and Transportation for Show and Share on Friday, March 27th. Kindly assist your child to introduce themselves, identify their toy and describe its colours in French. The following sentence structure may be helpful to them:

Free White or Chocolate Milk: The PEI School Milk program will be providing all students in our class with a white or chocolate milk free of charge on Friday, March 27th, as a token of appreciation for hosting a presentation by the program in our classroom.
Indoor Sneakers: I will be sending your child's indoor sneakers home with them on Friday, March 27th for you to check the fit and wear. Kindly remember to send a pair back with them Monday, March 30th. The sneakers must be Velcro unless your child can tie their own shoelaces.

Theme: Our theme will be Easter this week and next. We will also touch on Saint Patrick's Day again.
Attendance: In accordance with the PBS Attendance and Engagement Procedure, I am required to inform you if your child misses 5 or more days from school in a reporting period. Kindly note that I understand that they may have been sick or that your family may have been on a trip. I spoke with most parents during their child's parent-teacher interview about my responsibility already. Merci!
Eye See…Eye Learn! Program: Kindly have your child take advantage of the Eye See … Eye Learn! Program before June 30th, 2026. The Eye See … Eye Learn! program is an eye health and vision awareness program which provides one free eye exam and, if needed, one free pair of glasses to all Kindergarten students across P.E.I. Please refer to the following link for further information:
Head Lice: Kindly check your child's hair for head lice regularly. Thank you for taking a proactive approach towards reducing the spread at home and at school.
Late Arrival: If your child will be late for school, kindly remember that all doors will be locked. Please walk them to the main doors to be buzzed in. The first morning bell rings at 8:25 a.m. and staff members only supervise students entering all other doors until 8:40 a.m. Thank you for helping keep your child safe.
