Book Exchange: Our next book exchange will be on Monday, April 13th, Day 2. Please have your child return their Library book(s) by or on Thursday, April 9th, Day 1. Merci!
Great Sherwood School Kindness Challenge: Our class will be participating in the Great Sherwood School Kindness Challenge as a class at school, beginning on Monday, April 13th. Our goal will be to complete 10 kindness challenges by Monday, April 27th to earn a school wide reward on Thursday, April 30th.
Students are also invited to complete the challenge individually at home too. A challenge sheet will be sent home in your child's zippered bag on Monday, April 13th.
Hat Day: All students are invited to wear a hat on Friday, April 17th in exchange for a small monetary donation in support of Easter Seals PEI. Kindly send your child's donation in an envelope, clearly labelled with their name on it. Merci beaucoup!
Show and Share: All students are invited to bring a small toy of their choice from home for Show and Share on Friday, April 17th. Kindly assist your child to introduce themselves, identify their toy and describe its colours in French. The following sentence structure may be helpful to them:
Bonjour! Je m’appelle _____. Voici ma/mon _____. C'est _____. Merci!

Here are a few points of information pertaining to the week ahead:
Leader/Assistant: Our first leader of the day will be Max and our first assistant will be Nolan this week.
Theme: Our theme will continue to be Spring this week and next.
Photos: Most weeks, I took photos of learning activities that students in our class participated in. I recently added some to the following page of this Google Site. Kindly ask your child to tell you about them!
Reminder! Rain or Shine Play: Students will be playing outside at recess, rain or shine, except in heavy rain or when the temperature reach a windchill of -20°. Kindly ensure that your child is dressed appropriately to play in all weather conditions every day.
Spring Coat: Kindly have your child wear a spring coat every day so that they are warm and dry while playing outside at recess.
Splash Pants/Rain Boots: Kindly have your child wear splash pants and rain boots every day, until the ground dries up, so that they are warm and dry while playing on the schoolyard at recess.
Water Bottle: Kindly remember to send a filled water bottle with your child each day. Merci beaucoup!
