School Occupational Therapist Weekly Message
Kindly see Sherwood School's Occupational Therapist, Katherine McKee-Blanche's, weekly message below. Please read and watch both as they will be very helpful to your child, you and me.
Dear Kindergarten parents!
This week’s video involves cutting with scissors! Using scissors is a great two-handed task that works on hand strengthening and coordinating two hands to work together which is very important for developing eye-hand coordination skills! Please watch the video and use the fun strategies at home with your children. Remember, if your child is left-handed, use left-handed scissors as the blades are different on left-handed scissors, making it easier to cut.
As always, if you have any questions, please let me know.
