Clifton Equestrian Centre - Reflection

As Term 2 comes to a close, we’re thrilled to reflect on what has been a truly fantastic term here at the equestrian centre. From progress in lessons to success in competitions, our riders have once again outdone themselves—and we couldn’t be prouder!

Our mission has always been to build confidence both in and out of the arena, nurturing strong partnerships between horse and rider. This term has been a testament to that goal, with noticeable growth in skills, courage, and camaraderie across all levels.

A highlight of the term was our much-loved termly show, held right here at the stables. It was wonderful to see our competitive riders achieving excellent results, but just as heartwarming was watching all the children simply enjoying themselves—doing what they love most. The smiles, the laughter, and the moments of triumph truly capture the spirit of what we strive to create.

Our incredible school ponies have once again played a vital role this term. With patience, charm, and a few cheeky antics, they’ve helped our riders grow in confidence and character. We absolutely adore each and every one of them—they are the heart and soul of the stables.

Finally, a heartfelt thank you to our riders, families, and staff for your continued support, enthusiasm, and dedication. It’s because of each and every one of you that this term has been such a resounding success.

Here’s to more riding, learning, and laughter in Term 3!

Petru van Eeden competed in Johannesburg at the Gauteng 95 Championship over the Easter holidays, riding Dragon's Lair, and we’re proud to share that they achieved 2nd place in the 75cm pony class. Well done Petru!
