The art room has been a hub of activity this term with the children experimenting with all sorts of different materials and mediums. We have also had the pleasure of working outside with our new outdoor drawing boards. Printmaking has started in Grade 7 with lino cuts and we have our first art outing planned for next term to a local sculptor's studio and Ardmore Ceramics gallery which we are looking forward to.
The Cliftones children have enjoyed a fun-filled and musical term. They have been working hard on some exciting and different songs in preparation for two special events – Grandparents Day and the Recital at the end of the term.
The SP Choir have had a jam-packed and exciting term, filled with musical moments and memorable performances.
Our Clifton band performed at the Wembley Music Festival, sharing the stage with top high schools from the region. As one of the few primary schools invited to participate, it was a true honour and a memorable milestone for our young musicians.

A Celebration of Joy and Growth
This past week, the Junior Primary children took to the stage for their much-anticipated Music Recital. A joyful celebration of their weekly music lessons and the individual instrumental sessions many of them participate in.
On Wednesday evening, our Clifton Choir took to the stage at St Anne’s Diocesan College in Hilton for a remarkable choral showcase that will remain in the memories of all who attended. Our talented choristers opened the evening with a beautiful and spirited performance, warmly received by a large and appreciative audience.
On Friday 25 April, Clifton Preparatory School took part in a spectacular inter-school performance event that highlighted the outstanding talents of our girls and boys. Hosted by the wonderful team at Wembley School, the evening was a memorable celebration of music, community, and the power of performance. Despite initial nerves, understandable given the size of the audience ,our children quickly found their rhythm, with nerves giving way to excitement and joy.
