BulSU concludes Webinar Series for Students with group discussion

Closing the Series on a strong note, the Bulacan State University aired the last episode of its webinar series with a group discussion between key individuals, on September 23, 2020.

By Media Relations Office

With the title “BulSU at LGUs: Magkaagapay sa Nagbabagong Bihis na Edukasyon”, the keynote speaker of the webinar, Dr. Maria Teresita M. Semana, the OIC Director of the Commission on Education Regional Office III (CHEDRO III), discussed the Regional Higher Education Action Plan (RHEAP) of CHEDRO III for the years 2020-2022.

Meanwhile, on her message, the University President Dr. Cecilia S. Navasero-Gascon emphasized the role of the LGUs in the new normal learning setup and called for their renewed spirit of help and cooperation for the success of BulSU’s Flexible Modes of Learning.

Dr. Gascon also accentuated that the students should assess their current situation and choose the mode of learning that they believe is best for them.

On the other hand, the mayors of the different municipalities of Bulacan shared their individual messages and expressed their commitment to help the students cope with the new normal. After each mayor delivered his speech, the question and answer portion began. The group answered different questions from students, faculty, and other members present in the virtual meeting

The University President also mentioned the possibility of limited face-to-face classes should the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) grant the University permission to operate pursuant to the existing safety standards.

This recently concluded webinar series which was given the name “Getting Ready, Getting Steady: Preparing the BulSU Students for the New Normal Learning Setup” was made possible through the joint efforts of the offices of the Vice Chancellors for Student Affairs (Main and External) and Student Policy & Program Development, commissioned by the offices of the Executive Vice President and Vice President for Academic Affairs, with the technical assistance of the College of Information and Communications Technology (CICT).
