Higher education has offered distance instruction as an option for decades. Now that the pandemic of COVID-19 has reached all countries, many colleges and universities have suddenly shifted to a forced kind of flexible learning —to keep teaching while everyone stays at least six feet apart to avoid spreading the virus.
In this unprecedented moment, BulSU is stepping up to jointly create resources online, rapidly train faculty in a mode of remote teaching they may never have done, and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
To completely re-envision educational delivery methods and manage scholarly agenda until we return to a "new normal"; and to support the smooth transition on educational delivery calibrated certain guidelines but not limited to:
Faculty and Support Hiring, Orientation and Oath Taking Protocols
Faculty Monitoring
Modules Pro forma
ACAWP
Faculty Trainings and Webinars
Flagship Programs
FACULTY HIRING, ORIENTATION AND OATH TAKING
Amidst the situation, BulSU keeps on hiring faculty to respond to the needs of the students.
A newly hired employee’s first few months on the job are critical. Administrators invest valuable time and effort into finding the best-qualified individual for their departmental needs. For the new hire this is a time of learning about the University, about the dean's expectations and duties of their new position.
Human Resource Management Office ( HRMO ) of the Bulacan State University is strictly taking precautionary measures and currently doing the hiring and orientation process virtually. Even the oath taking of the newly hired and promoted individuals was made online via Google Meet.
Nevertheless, HRMO provided guidelines in hiring and orientation of faculty both for plantilla position and part time for face to face transaction and/ or submission of documents.
