Subject: Temporary Change of Shift & Timesheet Adjustment
Once your client approves the temporary shift change, you may proceed with using an Unscheduled Shift on the approved dates. Please note that timesheets under Unscheduled Shift will not be auto-approved.
To ensure proper processing, kindly submit a timesheet adjustment request using our template after your shift ends on the respective dates. This will allow me to manually approve the adjustment in FDTR.

Guideline for Requesting Temporary Change of Shift
Step 1. Seek the Client's approval
If there is a request for a temporary change of shift, seek the client's approval first
Ensure the reason for the change is valid or acceptable
If the request is client-initiated, take a screenshot of the client's email or message
Step 2. Inform SSP
Inform SSP of the temporary change of shift by completing the sample template for requesting a temporary change of shift
Attach the screenshot of the client's approval to the request
Step 3. Use Unscheduled Shift in Fast DTR
For the temporary change of shift, use the Unscheduled Shift option in Fast DTR
Choose "My shift has changed" from the drop-down list
Upload the screenshot of the Client's approval in Fast DTR
Step 4. Login based on required hours in Fast DTR
Log in to Fast DTR based on the required hours of the change of shift
Step 5. Clocking-Out
When clocking out, leave a comment stating "My client has approved the temporary change of shift (old schedule) to (new schedule) due to (reason)
By following these steps, we can ensure that all temporary changes of shifts are properly documented and approved, minimizing any potential issues (e.g. billing issues with the client) and miscommunications.
