GUIDELINES ON FILING A PAID LEAVE
To file for paid leave, you need to follow these steps:
Email your client to approve your leave request. Make sure to copy your Contractor Partner (CP) and your Client Success Manager (CSM) in the email.
Secure the copy of the approval via email as this will be used to approve your leave in Fast DTR.
For the client’s approval, proof must show that the client agreed for it to be a paid leave. Verbal agreements are not accepted. A screenshot of the email or forwarding the client’s email only.
Once you have the approval, you can file your leave in Fast DTR based on whether you have a scheduled or unscheduled shift.
If you have a scheduled shift (scheduled shift is often used by contractors):
Under the 'My Filed Leaves' tab, on the far right-hand side of the page, click on the blue button marked 'File Leave'.
Under Leave Details, select 'Scheduled Shift'.
Select your Client Role.
Select the working date you’ve missed (make sure you already have the proof of approval from your client).
Select the reason why you missed working on that day.
Click the 'File Leave' button.
View the record in the 'Filed Leaves' record to make sure that it has been saved.
If you have an unscheduled shift:
Under the 'My Filed Leaves' tab, on the far right-hand side of the page, click on the blue button marked 'File Leave'.
Under Leave Details, select 'Unscheduled Shift'.
Select your Client Role.
Select the working date you’ve missed (make sure you already have the proof of approval from your client).
Select the reason why you missed working on that day.
Click the 'File Leave' button.
View the record in the 'Filed Leaves' record to make sure that it has been saved.
Remember to follow the proper procedures and provide the necessary documentation for your paid leave request.
Go to the "My Filed Leaves" tab in Fast DTR
Click plus (+) button
Select Paid Leave
Choose the Leave Type (Set Shift or Unscheduled Shift if there is no scheduled shift for that day)
Choose the Leave Reason (e.g. Vacation/Time Off, Holiday, Sick, etc.)
Select Team (client's name)
Select Role (contractor's role)
Input the Start Time (based on the scheduled start of the shift for the day)
Input the End Time (based on the scheduled end of the shift for the day)
Add Details (e.g. New Year's Day)
Upload the screenshot of the client's email approval of this paid leave
Click the "Submit" button

Updated Process for Requesting Paid Leave via FastDTR
Contractors can now easily request Paid Leave through the "My Filed Leaves" tab in FastDTR. Here are the key details:
When selecting Paid Leave, contractors can only request one day at a time.
Contractors have two options for selecting their time off:
Set Shift – Choose the specific shift you want to take off (this option is recommended for most contractors).
Unscheduled – Manually enter the time you will be taking off.
A screenshot of the client’s paid leave approval must be uploaded when submitting a Paid Leave request.
After submitting your request, email your Staff Services Partner (SSP) for final approval.
Once your SSP approves the Paid Leave, a timesheet will automatically be created for the relevant date and times. This timesheet will be in "Approved" status and will not require further action or approval.
