"Learn from mistakes/failure"
5 Things that have probably kept you from executing immediately:
1. Procrastination
- e.g. doing it tomorrow, delaying victory, inaction.
- Procrastination is worse than quitting because it actually causes you the same result as quitting in that you lose or you quit. It just means it happens over a longer period of time. So you have a longer period of time.
- avoid selective urgency
- At the end of the day, it's all about one plus one equals two. Do the work, get the results. So whatever the task is, you need to train yourself to build enough discipline in yourself to understand that urgency. And doing it right now is the thing that actually does work. Doing the work works.
2. Rationalization
- Do you have enough resources? You have to embrace the idea of a zero-options mentality.
- If we're gonna be our best, we gotta always act as if we don't have any other options.
- You need to think about doing things always urgently. Embrace the lack of options as an asset
- You have to learn to make the best of what resources you have.
- Successful people use what they have. They're effective with what they have. They use the things around them to create solutions that don't exist in other people's eyes. And this is the beauty of being someone great in business or sales.
- You learn to take dirt, and you have to turn it into gold. You all have to learn how to do that. And you know how do you learn how to do that? You You learn how to do that when you don't have any resources.
3. Self-doubt
- The power is always in the execution And we overcome our self doubt by actually doing the work Having the belief then building more belief and then doing more work and then building more belief And that's over and over and over again, and that cycle has to repeat itself many times You've got to develop real confidence in what you're doing.
- So it's an it's an equation. If you do,
you will get. And if you don't do, you don't get. And time is part of the process. You're gonna do that over a long period of time.
- So that is the idea of self doubt, you cure self doubt through execution
4. Permission Mentality
- You have to give yourself permission. And the way you give yourself permission is to align your intent. You got to work hard and you got to persist through the hard times when other people around you are quitting.
- Good intentions, a great work ethic and persistence to work through hard times is basically what's required for anyone to win. Really in anything you do, whether it's this job, or anything else so you need to 2024 have a think about what's your current intent what's your current work ethic like are you persistent are you willing to endure what are you willing to endure can also be magnified by understanding a few things about the path
- You want to be the person who, you don't want to be the person who waste their life and their whole opportunity looking for the easier way when the way is always going to be the hard way. It's always going to be the hard way.
- So learn to expect hard things. And that way, when things are actually hard, you're not surprised. In fact, you're ready for it because you've built yourself into someone who's mentally tough,
who's disciplined, who's got grit, who's got fortitude, got the ability to endure hard times. And that's what you need to be working on right now. So that's what I call permission mentality.
5. Compromise
- Don't ever compromise on commitment or execution.
- Perfect conditions just don't exist and compromising when conditions are not perfect leads to failure because you quit. If you expect perfect conditions, the conditions will be perfect and they aren't. Aren't, guess what? They never will be. The presence of failure only means you have to rethink how you're actually doing some, how you're actually doing things.
- Successful people, great people that you look up to that you listen to, they don't waver on their commitment and they allow the day flexibility for the how am I gonna do this? And they maneuver and they change to what is happening in their environment because conditions are always changing.
- So you go to tweak the plan. not the commitment. Learn from the mistakes, keep moving forward. Failure is inevitable, you're gonna fail.
- The presence of failure signifies the action and the progress. And the progress is action, then to failure, then to lesson, then to improvement, then to success. Then back to action, then to failure, then to success. then to failure, then to lessen, then to improvement, then to success. And when you do that cycle over and over again, you develop this massive tool belt of skills that allow you to navigate as someone effective in sales and customer success and support.
- It takes immense mental toughness. It involves you acting and failing and then learning the lesson, developing the skill. Then it happening over and over again. There's just no way around this.
So to recap, the five obstacles you're gonna face, procrastination, rationalization, self -doubt, permission mentality, and then compromise. You gotta fight these at all costs. You gotta resist these this year at all costs. You gotta recognize when they're coming up into your mindset and your life, because they'll mess you up.
This year you're going to have a lot of challenges, you're going to have a lot of negativity coming to you. And my advice is when you have negativity coming to you this year, make the result of that negativity some positive action. If you're moving through your day and you get some bad news, try to do something productive whilst you're still agitated by the bad news.
Cause this year you're gonna get positive energy, you're gonna get negative energy. And as someone who's looking to win this year, generally people that are pushing to win are trying different things and they get a lot of more negative energy coming your way because you're going against the grain.
You can take in the negative, and your response is not more negative. Your response is actually positive, productive action. And if you can train yourself to do this, you're really gonna become a weapon in 2024. You're really gonna become a force to be reckoned with this year, because when everyone else feels that negativity, then they act shocked and surprised. You actually expect it. it and you just keep going whilst everyone else hesitates and they usually quit. And if you can move yourself forward through those negative times and use that negative energy, you will not be stopped this year. You will be unstoppable.
Turn negative to positive, use the negativity to become force for good. If you can take the skill of taking pain, frustration, aggravation, anxiety, things not going your way. And you can turn all of that into positive action. We are going to have a massive year. You're going to have a massive year and nothing will stop you. So this is the year. Go and become the person that you really wanna become. It's no waiting any longer to do this.2024, it's the time to become the warrior
4 Keys to Time Management

How you treat your time correlates with how others treat you. Manage your time well and be self-aware. When people cancel meetings with you (they sometimes don't respect you), how do you respond? Good strategy: take some time to be away from them. Mention you are fully booked.
Creating a regular structure for your day - For example, find a good time or schedule. Be in control of your time, it will result in a routine. Visualize your next day. Tie the regular structure of your day to your macro goals. Return messages to important ones (e.g. VIP clients) - create a schedule/timing for that. Build a Return-Message Discipline. Avoid responding during family time/weekends. You must learn to categorize and focus on your target.
The meeting should not be blocked to 1 hour - Assess the duration of your meeting schedule in order to be productive. How long do your meetings need to be?
Schedule a Planning Time. - Block out some time to strategize.
Deal with your distractions - limit yourself to distractions (e.g. social media, TV, friends), allot time (e.g. 20 minutes) to distractions, schedule it, leverage to other people (assign/delegate tasks)
Control your time. It's about winning and owning your time. Spend more time for yourself and your family. Manage your time well. You are precious to somebody. Your life is about your time. Afford to be present. Create good memories for the people you care about.

Pour yourself into one thing without thinking of the next thing (one at a time) - thinking of winning the day, ensuring you are executing to your potential, have a piece of paper/diary, then create a task, concentrate on the task at hand (to-do list), you will build confidence/momentum, 5 things only for the day, one day I'm gonna hit my goal, you must executing the correct intention and system, pay attention to details, rules of the universe
Develop the skill of direct communication - learn to take control of the call/meeting, be direct, being direct is not being rude
Learn to say "No" - no is a complete sentence itself. If you don't learn to say no, you cannot be direct, improve confidence
