WHAT TO DO DURING IMMEDIATE ONBOARDING?
In cases where contractor is assigned to a Staff Services Partner on the same day they are scheduled to start working (short notice) before their official onboarding session (BW guidelines and Fast DTR policies), here are the steps to follow:
Attend Client Meeting: If you receive an invitation for a first-day meeting with the client, make sure to attend. If no invitation is received, send a "ready to work" email to the client 15 minutes before your scheduled shift begins.
Timekeeping on Fast DTR: If you have access to Fast DTR (our online timekeeping system) and your shift is available, clock in and clock out as scheduled. If not, request a timesheet adjustment from your Staff Services Partner after your shift ends, so they can manually encode your first day's timesheet (for discussion during the Onboarding Meeting).
Immediate Onboarding with Staff Services Partner: If there is enough time, attend an immediate onboarding meeting with your Staff Services Partner. If time is insufficient, the onboarding meeting will be rescheduled after your first interaction with the client.
