Why does the last-minute cancellation option not allow me to receive a refund to my card?

According to the article of our LMC policy:
11.5. If you have purchased Last Minute Cancellation and cancel your booking less than 48 hours prior to pick-up, you will receive in your E-Wallet the full amount paid, excluding the cost of Last Minute Cancellation.
Please note that in this case you will not be able to withdraw the funds to your original payment method and can only use them for future rentals for 2 years.
