Meeting Overview

This meeting took place during the APA Utah Spring Conference and served as a brief board check-in and committee update meeting.

Committee Reports

Administration & Finance

Scott Hill reported that he now has access to the financial accounts. The board also hosted a meeting with the bookkeeper to review and improve procedures for recording expenses and incoming funds.

Legislative Committee

Francis Lilly reported that the Legislative Committee concluded its bi-weekly meetings following the end of the legislative session.

Additional updates included:

• A legislative session was hosted during the Spring Conference

• A legislative wrap-up session is planned for May

Partners & Affiliates

Mike G. officially transitioned from the Mentorship Committee to the Partners & Affiliates Committee. The board updated the committee email account and shared committee materials from Meagan to assist with the transition.

Past Presidents Committee

The committee has not officially launched yet. Initial priorities will focus on the call for nominations and upcoming board elections.

Student Committee

The Student Committee reported successful completion of:

• A student bowling social event

• Coordination of poster tours during the Spring Conference

• Collaboration efforts with the University of Utah
