Engagement Groups of APA Utah are informal, member-driven communities created to foster connection, collaboration, and dialogue among planners with shared interests, identities, or geographic locations. These groups are designed to support professional development, networking, and inclusion within the Chapter.
While Engagement Groups do not have formal governance authority, they play an essential role in advancing APA Utah’s mission by building community and promoting meaningful member engagement.
New Engagement Groups may be formed with the approval of the APA Utah Board of Directors, based on demonstrated interest and alignment with the Chapter’s goals and values.
Beyond City Limits (Planners Outside the Wasatch Front and Back)
Greater Wasatch Planners (Planners Inside the Wasatch Front and Back)
Early Career Planners (Those with five years or less of experience in planning)
