Xbox is the best gaming console available on the market right now. The comfort and ease of use makes their console stand out from the competition.

In recent years, there have been three consoles that have dominated the industry. The biggest selling console brands include the Nintendo Switch, the PlayStation by Sony and the Xbox by Microsoft.

It all started with Nintendo releasing the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) in 1986, which dominated the console industry for years until the early 2000’s hit. This is when Microsoft released the Xbox and Sony released the PlayStation in order to compete with Nintendo's NES.

Unlike PlayStation and Xbox, the NES had a major disadvantage which was its cartridge system. Using cartridges opposed to discs made it a lot more difficult for the game to load which is why Xbox and PlayStation used disc systems.

One of the pros of having an Xbox is that they have a subscription service called Xbox Gold. This service allows you to play a majority of games for free that would otherwise cost money or be unavailable to those without Xbox Gold. It is a monthly subscription service which is $10.99 a month and also includes a multiplayer feature.

Xbox has many features including being able to stream Netflix as well as play DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Another great feature of an Xbox is its backward compatibility. This feature allows games that were made for an older Xbox console to be played on newer Xbox models.
