Albert Einstein Academy (AEA) North Olmsted had a Winter Formal in the AEA North Olmsted School gym. The Winter Formal was Candy Land themed and Student Council planned this event.

Student Council member Joshua Rivera explained how the theme was decided.

“I talked to my friend, Kaitlyn, who is also in Student Council to make the theme Candy Land” Rivera said.

Summer Rorrer talked about how she liked the decorations.

“The decorations were really well done,” Rorrer said. “I enjoyed the decorations.”

Alyssa Culp also commented on the decorations.

“I thought that the decorations were very well executed,” Culp said. “Just a very good overall environment.”

The dance required formal attire.

“I will probably will be wearing a white button-up shirt, blue bow tie, gray dress pants and some brown shoes,” Joshua Rivera said. He will be attending with a group of his friends.

Student council members Alyssa Culp and Summer Rorrer Both dressed for the occasion.

Alyssa Culp said, “I was wearing a sparkly off-the-shoulder lace dress.” Rorrer wore a green satin dress.

They both had fun at the dance. Culp also added, “I was proud of the student council members for pulling it off.”

Students could bring a date or friend either from AEA or even another school.

Culp wrapped up the evening.

“I was so happy with how it went and being a senior this year and it was so much fun. I loved it,” Allyssa Culp said.
