Certain trees need a specific climate because it needs to be at a precise temperature to grow properly in order to get good results.
The different types of plants vary depending on the weather. A grower needs to know how much water depending on the plant type. Some plants need lots of water and some need water once a week or month depending on the color of the dirt. The color of dirt around the plants varies and indicates if it needs water or not. Lighter -color soil is dry and needs more water whereas darker-color soil needs less since it is already moist.
Some plants need a lot of water depending on how big they are and the location they are growing.

California, Florida and southern Texas are in this zone.
