New to the student council this year is Junior Anthony Hadsell. Hadsell joined this year because he enjoys planning school spirit events.
“I believe I am very personable,” he said. “I'm able to get along well with most other people. I'm also very driven when I get my mind set on something. I don't give up until I've tried every possible option,”
Hadsell wants to run for student council president because he wants to represent the student body.
“I was drawn to this role by the potential to plan and coordinate school events,” he said. “Admittedly, I am a pretty opinionated person, but I've been told I have good ideas, and I think I'm pretty good at coming up with ideas to help the school,” he said.
Anthony also talks about planning events for the fall and having a big pumpkin carving event with the entire school.
“I'm pretty excited for that,” he said. “I just gotta figure (out) a way to move it.”
Hadsell wants to do his best to reflect the values of the students at Albert Einstein Academy and represent them through student council.
