Sarah Oskowski is a senior at AEA. This is her first and only year working for Publications.
Sarah plans to write about Alzheimer's disease and its effect on the body. Alzheimer's disease is known to cause memory loss.
Sarah had a stressful summer. Her family had to find a new house to move into. She moved to Brook Park this year. Her family’s lease, or rental agreement, on her old house had expired, and the owner had to sell it. However, it wasn't all stressful. She went on a week-long vacation to Myrtle Beach in late July.
“It was a lot of fun,” she said.
When Sarah isn't at school, she sometimes naps or plays with her pets. She likes to take walks from time to time. She even enjoys a little bit of painting.
After she graduates, Sarah plans to go to the Polaris Career Center in Middleburg Heights. She also plans to get a phlebotomy certification. Phlebotomy is the drawing of blood from the veins.
Sarah is happy to be back in school.
“It’s nice to see people,” she said.
She is also happy that the school has better wi-fi than at her house.
Sarah used to play softball from 2016-2020. She was a pitcher for her team throughout this time. Speaking of teams, it will be nice to have Sarah on the Publications team to write for the Einstein Edition this school year.
