Jacob Zmecek is a senior at Albert Einstein Academy, and a writer for the Einstein Edition. This is Jacob's 5th year attending AEA.
Jacob had an interesting summer experience where he was able to explore playwriting in a five-week arts program at a church.
“I learned about different stage directions and how to write monologues,” he said.
“We also played some games.”
Jacob also hopes to attend Lorain County Community College for an arts program to pursue computer animation after he graduates. He would like to learn more about 2D animation and more complex 3D animation.
He enjoys in-person learning over online and attending school because it gives him a chance to be with his friends. One thing Jacob would change about AEA is the size of the building; he would like to have more space for more people so that he can be more social.
Jacob’s advice to freshmen is, “just work hard to move on up.”
