Our Week in 4K

November 13-17, 2023

Monday:

*Our color this week is gray, our shape is a hexagon, and the Word of the Week is “turn.”  *We learned how to play a fun turkey game in Phy. Ed.  *We read The Nuts Sing and Dance in Your Polka-Dot Pants.

Tuesday:

*This week in small groups we are drawing Mat Man, retelling Goldilocks, and folding real socks.  *We learned about laundromats and how washing clothes is different there than washing them at home.  *We reread The Nuts Sing and Dance in Your Polka-Dot Pants and did the Polka-Dot Pants Dance.

Thursday:

*We read Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons.  *We sang about the steps needed to have clean clothing (wash, dry, iron, fold, and put away).  *In music class we have started practicing our holiday concert songs.

Friday:

*We reread Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons.  *During our social lesson we acted out feelings and identified the Zone of Regulation the feeling is in.  Check the back of this newsletter for feelings pictures to use at home.  *We identified different ways to fix clothing that is ripped or torn.  *We made button cookies.  Thanks Mrs. Vida for the colorful frosting!

Next Week and After:
