Our Week in 4K

December 4-8, 2023

Monday:

*Our letter this week is Ff, our number is 1, and the Word of the Week is “look”  *We said and sang the rhyme Humpty Dumpty   *We made reindeer for our class bulletin board.

Tuesday:

 *In small groups we are making the letter F, making cotton ball sheep, and reading the rhyme Where is Thumbkin?  *We took turns acting out the rhyme Humpty Dumpty with props.  *Help me practice saying/singing nursery rhymes at home!

Thursday:

 *We said and sang the nursery rhyme Baa, Baa Black Sheep.   *We sang our concert songs with Ms. Fletcher’s class during music.  Mrs. Grams was very proud of us!  *Mrs. Elandt was our substitute teacher.  

Friday:

 *During our social lesson with Ms. Fletcher we reviewed and practiced using Solution Cards. (A copy of the cards was sent home on Thursday.)  *Everyone had a part to act out in the rhyme Baa Baa Black Sheep.  Ask me what character I played and say the rhyme together with me.  

Next Week:

We will be learning about the letter Ee and the number 2.

 *PTG Meeting: Dec. 13 at 8:00  *Meet Ms. Frosch at the public library: Dec. 13th at 9:30, All families are invited to attend story time at 10:00.  *Winter Holiday Concert: Dec. 20th at 9:00, 4K student drop off at 8:00  *Christmas Break: Dec. 25th - Jan. 1st  *No School: Jan. 15th and 22nd
