Our Week in 4K

March 11-15, 2024

Monday:

*Our letter this week is Dd and our number is 13.  *We read an original version of The Three Little Pigs.  *On our theme board we identified tools and vehicles used for building.  

Tuesday:

 *In small groups we are writing our names, counting with one-to-one correspondence, and sequencing the story of The Three Little Pigs.   *We reread The Three Little Pigs and helped retell the story.  *We identified the materials that were used to build our school.        

Thursday:

*We identified the different places/spaces in our school.  *We read The Three Little Pigs Once Upon a Time.  Ask me how this book was different from the original 3 little pigs story.  *We looked at pictures and identified different buildings around Waupaca.

Friday:

 *Our ending song this week is called “Pop See Ko” by Koo Koo Kanga Roo.  Check it out on YouTube!  *During our science experiment we tried to grow a rainbow!  *We reviewed the feelings in the Green Zone and learned about the Green Zone Tools. See the back of this newsletter for the tools.  

Next Week:

We will be learning about the letter Pp and the number 14.
