Our Week in 4K

May 27-31, 2024

Monday:

No School-Memorial Day

Tuesday:

*Our last letter for the year is Xx!   *We identified lots of different kinds of insects.    *We read our Scholastic magazine about butterflies.  *This week our end of the day song is “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.”  Ask me to show you the sign language for each animal in the song. 

Thursday:

*In small groups we are drawing end of the year self portraits and making a ladybug position words book.   *We sang about different sounds that insects make.  *We read the book Over in the Garden.  *There are new toys out for choice time.   

Friday:

*We identified things that insects eat.  *Summer homework folders were sent home to families who requested them.   *We reread the book Over in the Garden and looked for the hidden number on each page.

Next Week:

*Monday- normal school day

*Tuesday- 4K games day 

*Wednesday- WLC EC/4K Party at South Park from 9:30-10:30 for all A.M. and P.M. WLC classes.  Songs start at 10:00.  Attendance is optional but encouraged.

*Thursday- last day of 4K!
