Our Week in 4K

January 2-5, 2024

Monday:

No School 

Tuesday:

 *Our letter this week is Tt, our number is 4, and the Word of the Week is “what.”  *In small groups we wrote the number 4 and played a game to learn the rhyme “This Little Piggy.”   *We read/sang Nursery Rhyme Rally and learned a new way to sing the alphabet.  *We made a snowman by writing each of the letters in our names on a snowball.

Thursday:

*Ask me about the new toys in our classroom. *We learned the actions to the rhyme “I Had a Little Turtle.”  Ask me to show you how I can make a turtle with my hand.  *We reread Nursery Rhyme Rally.

Friday:

 *We read the book If the Shoe Fits and identified different nursery rhyme characters in the story.  *We started report card testing.  *We were very excited to go to Phy. Ed. and see Mrs. Ash.

Next Week:

We will be learning about the letter I and the number 5.  *Our new theme is exercise.

  *Keep sending in January family projects!  *4K Family basketball game night- Jan. 11th at 5:45  *No School: Jan. 15th and 22nd  *End of 1st semester- Jan. 20th
