Our Week in 4K

Monday:

*Our letter this week is Gg, our number is 10, and the Word of the Week is “it.” *In small groups we are drawing a fish, answering story questions, writing the number 10, and sorting candy hearts.

Tuesday:

*We sang a silly song to help us identify pets and the sounds that they make. *We read the book The Day it Rained Hearts. *In music class we used a parachute while singing a Valentine song.

Thursday:

*We watched a video/song about how pets need food, water, shelter, and air to live. We agreed that pets also need love. *We talked about Pebble’s habitat. Pebbles is our class fish. *We read the book Some Pets.

Friday:

*We had fun going through an obstacle course in Phy. Ed. *We used picture cards to identify animals and their habitats. *During our social lesson we reviewed feelings in the Blue Zone and learned about the Blue Zone Tools. See the back of this newsletter for the tools we can use to help our bodies feel better when we are in the Blue Zone. *We read the book How Do Dinosaurs Choose Their Pets?

Next Week:

We will be learning about the letter Ss and the number 11.
