Our Week in 4K

February 26- March 1, 2024

Monday:

*Our letter this week is Jj, our number is 12, and the Word of the week is “who.”  *We read Green Eggs and Ham and sang the “Green Eggs and Ham” song.  *We used a huge stretchy band in music class to help keep the beat and follow directions.

Tuesday:

*This week in small groups we are making two Dr. Seuss inspired class books.

*We wrote a list of rhyming words.  *We read The Cat in the Hat.  

Thursday:

 *We sorted picture cards by rhyming pairs or not a rhyming pair.  *We read part of the book One Fish,Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.  *We had a free choice day in Phy. Ed.  

Friday:

 *Ms. Lisa came in and we made green eggs and ham!  Ask me if I liked them.  *During our social lesson we reviewed the feelings in the Yellow Zone and learned about the Yellow Zone Tools. See the back of this newsletter for the tools.  *We read Yertle the Turtle by Dr. Seuss.

After Spring Break:

We will be learning about the letter Dd and the number 13.
