Our Week in 4K

April 22-25, 2024

Monday:

*Our letter this week is Mm, our number is 19, and the Word of the Week is “here.”    *We read Earth Day, Birthday.  Ask me what things the animals did in the book to help take care of the Earth.  *We discussed what we could do with old clothes instead of throwing them away.

Tuesday:

*During small group we are writing numbers for a recycling book and making a class book about the projects we made out of recyclable materials.  *We planted grass seed for a special upcoming project.  *We talked about how we can use less paper in the classroom and not be wasteful. 

Thursday:

*Ask me about our new toys!  *We read a new Old Lady book, There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Worm.  *In Phy. Ed. we played a fun team relay game on big scooters.  *Our song this week is helping us cross the midline so that we can be better readers and writers.

Next Week:

We will be learning about the letter Nn and the number 20.  Our new theme is balls.

Additional Information:

*No School- April 26th and May 27th  *Creative Expressions Night- May 7th  *End of the Year 4K/EC Party at the Park- June 5th at South Park from 9:30-10:30 A.M.  Attendance is optional but encouraged.  *Last day of school- June 6th
